By when do I have to submit a work notification?

To ensure that we can pay your royalties in full and on time, please register your works on the online portal under ‘Work Registration’ as soon as they are created.

For all new works and amendments to works that are used between 1 January and 31 December of a given year, the current registration deadline is 31 January of the following year.

Important: Depending on the category, different deadlines may also apply. You can find an overview under ‘Distribution Dates and Deadlines’. If you register a work after the specified deadlines and it is therefore not taken into account in the distribution, you have no right to make a claim (see Section 36 of the Distribution Plan).

Good to know: We recommend that you always register your works on the online portal immediately upon completion. This ensures that all uses are included in the distribution in good time.
